Unreal - Week 4 -- Friday

As I work through the weekend on Unreal in my spare time, I am going to focus as much on the animation (and cinematic) aspect of Unreal and the Fellowship videos as I possibly can going forward. I am currently reviewing how to create and edit control rigs so that I can fully comprehend how to make custom animations with control rigs. I have been working on a custom walk cycle, but it still needs a lot of polishing before I would like to show it off.

Something that makes me feel slightly concerned is how the control rig--when attached to a bone in the skeleton of my character--will be so far away from the body in the preview. I will have to conduct more research through the videos from the Fellowship to understand the root of this, but it is not of major importance, and it does not seem to be impeding my progress for the moment, but I thought I should mention it in case anyone who sees this blog might have an explanation.
