So far, the recreation of the two shots is going well. Found some decent particle effects to make the transformation feel more real. However, I definitely need to do some extra work in After Effects to improve the visuals.
My pitch presentation went really well. I hope that everything I planned for my final project goes well, and that the process for it all goes swimmingly. I will provide a polished version of this presentation in a later post with more of my own clips and screenshots as I work on my final project. Slides below:
I spent this day training more with Unreal’s sequencer tool. I have learned a fair amount on how to create different shots. I have completed 1 of the 3 sequences I shall present later on. I also looked back at some of the videos from our Unreal Fellowship for better reference.
Today has been more difficult to squeeze in some time for animation practice in Unreal. Having multiple projects to finish this weekend for my Visual Effects and Digital Drawing courses, as well as a Midterm exam for my Music in Film and Games course to study has held me back a little. That said, I was able to continue work on my animation today, and I am getting better at animating skeletons in the preview.
